So I took a risk following speculation that there was a leather crisis, and bought up a lot of Borean Leather to make armor kits and what not for sale. Turns out the “leather crisis” wasn’t as big as was thought (at least on my server). The prices of leather went up for a bit, but have dropped back down somewhat. The sale of armor kits … is going slowly, but is still profitable enough to consider for long term sales if I buy the mats really cheaply.
In the meantime, I’ll have to see what else in Leatherworking I should be concentrating on to boost my in-game gold. I may just concentrate on farming skins and selling those or exchanging them for Arctic Fur.
